The King's Way Food Pantry was created in July 2009 in response to the increase of food insecurity in the community. The food pantry has grown from the King's Way Christian Fellowship, with most of the food being donated by its members. It is also supplemented through the regular donations of individuals and business.

The King's Way Food Pantry's mission is simply to share the love of God with our neighbours. Because God has loved us we are able to love others. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

Because God has given us so much, we are able to give to others. "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness" 2 Peter 1:3

And because Jesus is the Bread of Life we love to share Him with others. "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." (Jesus' words) John 6:35 To this end we supply a Christian Gospel leaflet with every food parcel given.

The King's Way Food Pantry's aim is to welcome anyone who comes to us for assistance and to provide practical food support in a gentle and caring environment. (Please note that our ability to help will necessarily be limited to the amount and variety of food currently in stock, and the extent of our support will be considered on a case-by-case basis).
